School Leaders Collaborate with Simon Steer

This term, the School Council have been collaborating with designer Simon Steer to finalise plans for our new outdoor café, which will be unveiled later this year to support our local community. The children had some fantastic and insightful ideas and Simon has incorporated these into the blueprints for the café. Leading the school in efforts to improve our sustainability and reduce the impact we are having on our planet, the School Council requested that our new café be made from hardwearing, natural materials like cedarwood instead of plastics. This term, children across the school are exploring the idea of leadership and by considering our environmental impact, the School Council have demonstrated great integrity - an essential character value for any good leader.
